In this book I have tried to explain the true meaning of the words martial arts from my own experience and the lives I've had the pleasure of training and teaching. We will grow in life, we see, we learn, we live. There is one aspect, though, we will all have to do during our lives, and that is to learn how to love and treat everyone with the respect that they are living as well. Everyone is different, but we all are the same. Yes, I've learned how to fight studying the martial arts, but the greatest gift that I received throughout my training is the ability to love more and to respect others. Though martial arts is anticipated as combat, it is always thought of as physically fighting another, but the combat is within yourself to grow to be the best human being that you can be, regardless of how your ability limits you. You can't live your life alone, so why not accept the love from others and learn how to live with hope and faith? Isn't love all we really have?
