On the verge of deeming the investigation hopeless, Jack received a desperate cry in the dead of the night. The caller was an unlikely source, which inadvertently sent him whirling head first into the midst of the raging storm. In a town in which loyalty was frequently purchased by the highest bidder, Jack realizes that he must be extremely cautious, for his very life would depend upon it.
